SOLUTIONS / FROM 3D TO 2D

From 3D shape to production pattern.

Unfold a complex 3D surface into 2D patterns for cutting and production. We link digital geometry with the production of linings, covers and products made from flexible materials.

01 / WORKFLOW

Input: 3D scan or CAD. Result: production.

Data

Import of STL/OBJ meshes and STEP/IGES CAD geometry; pattern export to PDF or DXF AAMA, depending on the edition.

  1. 01

    3D scan or CAD

The captured or designed shape is the starting point for the pattern.

  2. 02

    Surface division

Defining cut lines and dividing the surface into separate pieces.

  3. 03

    Pattern unfolding

Unfolding surfaces while taking the material's properties into account.

  4. 04

    Cutting preparation

Seam allowances and notches prepare the pattern for assembly.

  5. 05

    Production

The patterns go to cutting and production.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR ENQUIRY

Your application area, your existing measuring device or CAD environment, and the result you want.

Which shape do you want to unfold into a pattern?

Describe the product, material and production method. Together we can clarify the basis for choosing equipment.
